This position is responsible for creating cleaner, healthier environments for our customers, their students, and grounds by performing the following essential duties:

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided Service Master products, tools, and procedures
• Perform sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, window cleaning, furniture and equipment moving
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
• Use proper PPE where required (hard‑toe shoes, hard hat, safety vest)
• Open and lock facilities and enable or disable the security system as required
• Have at least 2 years’ experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper (a plus but not required)
• Provide on‑the‑job training to those with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Experience working for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school is a plus
• Be flexible, work in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasked environment, and adapt to changing priorities
• Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude, maintain uniform, dependability, and punctuality
• Respect and understand co‑workers and customers

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching over head, and reaching forward; able to lift and/or carry 25 lbs.
• Ability to read cleaning instructions
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses

2nd shift:
Monday – Friday, 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
