Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Specialist to join our team. This position plays a vital role in creating and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work and understands the importance of cleanliness in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks throughout the school, including classrooms, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain all flooring surfaces
• Empty and sanitize trash and recycling bins throughout the building
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces to maintain a healthy environment
• Restock cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the school’s entrance and outdoor areas as needed
• Report any maintenance needs or safety hazards
• Follow all health and safety regulations and cleaning protocols
• Perform deep cleaning duties as scheduled or required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Reliable, punctual, and takes initiative
li>Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods

Work Schedule:
Will be discussed at interview.

Work Environment: The Cleaning Specialist works indoors and outdoors and may be exposed to cleaning chemicals and equipment. Appropriate safety training and PPE are provided.
