Field Service Technician

Overview

Located in St. Louis, Core & Main provides reliable infrastructure solutions. The position involves managing and troubleshooting Automated Meter Reading (AMR) endpoint installations, including programming and operating wireless meter endpoints. The role requires ensuring installations meet reporting and quality control standards and regulatory requirements.

• Install, program, and troubleshoot AMR endpoints.
• Maintain accurate reporting to meet compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with team and leadership to achieve high customer satisfaction.
• Support ongoing professional development and training.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record.
• Ability to operate basic hand tools.
• Experience working with gas utilities or related field.
• Experience with Operator Qualification training and certification.
• Natural gas experience preferred.
