Location: Carteret, NJ

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime as needed, including occasional half-day Saturdays.

Zing is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in Carteret, NJ. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a hands‑on maintenance professional with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills who enjoys keeping production equipment operating at peak performance.

If you're experienced with preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you.

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems
• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs), inspections, and routine servicing
• Diagnose and repair pumps, motors, mixers, and other production equipment
• Complete minor electrical and plumbing repairs
• Document maintenance activities using a CMMS/work order system
• Support facility upkeep while following OSHA and company safety standards
• Respond quickly to equipment issues to minimize downtime

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting experience with pumps, motors, mixers, and similar equipment
• Experience performing preventive maintenance (PM) programs
• Basic electrical troubleshooting and plumbing skills
• Experience using a CMMS for work orders and maintenance tracking
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team

• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Stand, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces
• Comfortable working around industrial machinery and moderate to loud noise
• Willing to work overtime, including occasional half-day Saturdays

• Have only facilities maintenance or handyman experience
• Lack industrial manufacturing maintenance experience
• Do not have hands‑on equipment troubleshooting experience
• Have never worked with preventive maintenance programs
