Job Summary
Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

- Location:
Cartersville Primary School – 315 Etowah Drive, Cartersville, GA 30120 (openings available at other district locations) - Schedule:
Monday through Friday; hours may vary. Full and part‑time flexible schedules available. - Prior floor care experience preferred.
- Pay: $12.50 – $13.00 per hour.
- Same‑day pay; comprehensive benefits package.
- Maintain knowledge of hard‑surface floor maintenance principles and proper procedures, including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
- Operate various industrial floor care equipment.
- Utilize automated equipment to clean large floor areas.
- Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extraction, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
- Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
- Preferred: previous experience as a floor care technician or related role.
- Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
- Ability to follow safety procedures.
- Capacity for frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
