Facilities Technician

Objective:

To assist the Facilities Director in overseeing the day-to-day management of the church, including facilities and security. This role will include building and managing a facility setup team..Personal Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist the Facilities Director in overseeing general upkeep of the property, including, but not limited to, cleaning, repairs, special projects, landscaping, and exterior appearance.

Assist in managing inventory of all buildings, grounds, and equipment owned by the chruch.

Execute facility usage requests as assigned by the Facilities Director, ensuring all rooms are prepared as requested.

Assist in managing the effective utilization of available storage space.

Accountable for the development and spending of the Facilities portion of the Church budget.

Help to manage the inventory systems for supplies and equipment as required.

Assist in coordinating the Facilities and Security serve teams to provide support for gatherings and special functions/events.

Recruit, prepare, equip, and encourage leaders on your team to align with Crosspoint's mission, values, and strategy.

The position may require some travel locally.

As required, attend staff and departmental meetings on time Participate in training as directed

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Must have a valid driver's license and pass a background check and physical

Ability to learn schedules & systems

Ability to lead and assist others with construction, installation, maintenance, repair, and preparation/cleanup work Ability to perform non-routine and complex maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, fixtures, etc.

Ability to operate various basic and complex hand and power tools, including calibrations and test equipment

Must be proficient in general construction
