Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Location: Cary, IL
Salary: $70,000.00 USD Annually - $75,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for their Manufacturing facility near Cary IL. This is a 2nd Shift Position working from 3:00 - 10:00 pm, Monday - Friday. The facility is climate‑controlled and has a tenured maintenance staff. This position will focus on the plant equipment only and does not include the site facilities. The company is large, North American, with over 70 domestic production facilities, including 6 in the greater Chicagoland area.

Responsibilities- Machine maintenance processes include electronic, electrical, and mechanical installations, as well as repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Maintaining plant safety, housekeeping standards, and quality checks within a manufacturing environment.
- Disassembling and reassembling machinery.
- Read and interpret schematics and process control diagrams.
- Troubleshooting and calibrating level, pressure, temperature, and flow measuring instruments; process instrumentation.
- Working with electronic controls and circuits, hard‑wiring relay logic systems.
- Reading blueprints and equipment manuals.
- 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing performing machine maintenance.
- Associate's Degree Preferred or Trade School Certificate.
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast‑paced manufacturing and team‑oriented environment.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Reporting to work on time and dependability is imperative.
