Relocation Support:

- Operate and maintain utility, facility, electrical, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems across the site.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and utility system issues independently and efficiently.
- Support startup, shutdown, commissioning, and qualification activities for critical facility systems.
- Lead initial alarm response activities and restore system functionality while maintaining operational continuity.
- Identify reliability improvement opportunities and support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Coordinate contractors and external service providers to ensure safe and compliant execution of work.
- Complete accurate maintenance records and documentation in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices requirements.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, Metrology, and Automation teams.
- Coach and support less experienced technicians while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Associate degree, diploma, or technical certification in a related trade with two years of experience.
- Alternatively, 2-4 years of experience in maintenance, utilities, facilities, or similar technical environments.
- Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, laboratory, semiconductor, government, military, or regulated industries.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, pneumatic, and utility system issues independently.
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds, to climb ladders and work in mechanical spaces and to work in clean rooms and controlled manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices and lockout and tagout procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and computerized maintenance management systems.
The salary for this position is expected to range between $37.02 and $68.75 per hourly. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors. Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.
