Job Description
To clean and sanitize shoe scrubber stations throughout the facility and apply granulated sanitizer. This position works with the QA Sanitation department.
WHAT YOU LL DO:
- Clean and sanitize shoe scrubber stations.
- Ensure assigned areas are properly cleaned using approved cleaning and sanitizing processes.
- Clean and sanitize processing and production equipment and facility areas according to job standards.
- Clean and sanitize food processing equipment and facilities.
- Operate specialized equipment such as floor scrubbers, scissor lifts, etc., to perform job functions.
- Prevent cross-contamination of products, work-in-progress materials, food contact surfaces, and food contact packaging during sanitation procedures.
- Follow all company Sanitation SOPs for cleaning equipment and facilities.
- Remove trash/garbage from the facility; mop as needed; clean floor drains and exterior areas requiring attention.
- Complete all required sanitation and work order documentation.
- Wash and maintain cleaning carts and tools.
- Maintain all sanitation-related equipment, including automatic floor scrubbers, vacuums, cleaning equipment, and tools.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the sanitation supervisor.
- Keep cleaning supplies stocked, available, and organized.
- May be asked to work in other areas as needed if properly trained.
- Maintain compliance with required standards, including FDA, OSHA, and company policies and procedures.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous cleaning experience and knowledge of manufacturing GMP.
This is a 12-hour Day shift position from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM or a 12-hour Night shift position from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The schedule allows you to have every other weekend off.
