This is a field‑based role covering Northern Scotland, where you’ll be out on the road each day, delivering expert repairs and peace of mind in customers’ homes and workplaces.
The RoleAs a Furniture Repair Technician, you’ll assess, diagnose and repair a wide range of furniture, aiming for first‑visit resolutions and consistently high standards. You’ll work independently but remain closely connected to a supportive team that values your expertise, ideas and feedback.
What You’ll Do- Visit customers to assess and repair upholstery, leather, wood and furniture items
- Deliver high‑quality, professional repairs with a customer‑first approach
- Complete accurate documentation and return information promptly
- Work towards first‑visit resolution and quality targets
- Promote care kits where appropriate
- Maintain your vehicle, tools and presentation to a high standard
- Share feedback and ideas to support continuous improvement
- Aged 18+ with a full UK driving licence (up to 6 points accepted)
- Hands‑on repair experience, ideally with furniture, wood or leather
- Confidence working in customers’ homes and representing the business professionally
- Excellent attention to detail
- Clear communication and good time‑management
- Willingness to follow processes while adapting to different situations
