Office Janitor/Housekeeper
Local client seeking a Janitor/Housekeeper for their office. This is a temporary position lasting 2-6 weeks. This role performs routine cleaning tasks, manages waste disposal, supports floor care, and communicates facility supply and maintenance needs to ensure efficient daily operations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle waste collection, removal, and disposal in accordance with company standards
- Maintain and care for flooring, including mopping, buffing, and spot treatments as needed
- Monitor cleaning supplies and inventory levels; report shortages promptly
- Identify and report maintenance issues or facility repair needs to the appropriate team
- Follow all safety guidelines and cleaning procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Ensure assigned areas are clean, orderly, and presentable at all times
- Monday through Friday
- 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Includes a 30-minute unpaid meal break
- Pay range: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
- Prior cleaning or janitorial experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Indoor facility setting
- Requires regular physical activity, including lifting, bending, and moving equipment or supplies
$15.00 – $17.00 per hour
