Preventative Maintenance Job Description
Responsible for the preventive maintenance of building mechanical systems and equipment on a scheduled and occasional basis. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele.

Physical Requirements:
- Constant lifting five (5) to twenty (20) pounds.
- Frequent lifting twenty (20) to fifty (50) pounds.
- Occasional lifting over fifty (50) pounds.
- Frequent climbing stairs and ladders.
- Constant bending, squatting, standing, reaching, sitting, walking, kneeling, crawling, stooping, repetitive motions.
- Frequent overhead work.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment and systems, such as motor lubrication, filters, pumps, belts, valves, etc.
- Inspect all systems and equipment on a regular basis.
- Make determinations on necessary preventive maintenance activities.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance activities with other trades.
- Make recommendations for purchase of equipment and supplies.
- Maintain necessary records and reports.
- May be responsible for maintenance of back flow systems.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
