Pay Range: $52,197 – $78,295

Schedule:

Four 10‑hour shifts; days and hours vary. Includes a $400 annual clothing allowance.

• Performs specialized operation and maintenance of building control systems, including HVAC, plumbing, security systems, and life safety systems.
• Performs specialized construction and remodel work to building facilities and equipment using a variety of hand and power tools (framing, drywall, painting, flooring, etc.).
• Maintains and repairs all building electrical systems, including high‑ and low‑voltage components.
• Opens and operates a variety of motorized and powered equipment, performing daily inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Provides customer service for internal and external customers, establishing and maintaining strong relationships to ensure specifications are understood, communicated, and executed.
• Communicates with internal and external customers and vendors to coordinate repairs, order supplies, and follow verbal or written instructions. Documents time and materials used through the County work order process.
• Completes accurate work orders and reporting, maintaining preventive and unscheduled maintenance logs.
• Mentors the development of Building Maintenance Technicians, expanding their knowledge of specialized building systems.
• Ensures safety standards are used in compliance with all County guidelines.
• Orders and purchases necessary parts and maintains required documentation.
• Maintains sidewalks adjacent to County facilities free of snow and ice.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Four years of building maintenance experience required.
• A combination of education and experience may be considered.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Successful completion of a criminal background check including fingerprinting through a national database.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license upon hire, with complying insurance. Review of motor vehicle record required at time of hire and periodically throughout employment.
