Salary Range: $18.00 - $18.00 per hour (starting pay $18.00 to $19.00 per hour)

Job Shift: Sunday to Tuesday 7:30am to 4:00pm

Position:
Temporary Part‑time Housekeeper (Requires work on weekends and holidays). Background checks and drug screening required.

• Clean residents’ apartments, rooms, and balconies on a weekly basis (or daily in the health center).
• Replenish supplies as needed.
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines.
• Gather and dispose of trash; clean floors and handrails.
• Remove soiled linens, make bed, and provide clean linens weekly for all residents in IL and AL.
• Work in a 24/7 facility; be available to work weekends and holidays as required.
• Complete employment application online to advance to the next step.

• Interest in and ability to work with older adults.
• Ability to follow simple instructions.
• Preference for individuals with housekeeping experience in a hospital setting.
• Works well with others and is a team player.
• Ability to read and write in English is preferred to communicate with residents or visitors.
• Must pass drug screening, physical exam with TB skin test, and criminal clearance through FBI and Department of Justice.

• Moderate to heavy work involving lifting, walking, bending, reaching, and crouching.
• Exposure to communicable diseases, blood, and body fluids that may contain HIV/HBV.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and offensive odors.
