Area Supervisor – Facilities

• Manage all properties including occupancy, maintenance, construction, relocation and renovation
• Assign and monitor daily tasks for technicians
• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and negotiation with developers and contractors
• Control expenses and approve payments for goods and services within authority
• Meet with tenants or department heads to discuss matters concerning space, work flow, relocation, alterations or remodeling
• Supervise the preparation of working drawings and plans
• Provide complete and adequate services to maintain facilities in presentation and safety
• Arrange for tours and inspections of a technical nature
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned

• High School or GED
• 5 years of experience in facilities management
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• General operational and technical knowledge in the fields of construction and lease-holdings
• General knowledge in plumbing, carpentry, service or machinery, electrical repairs, and general maintenance

Demonstrates expertise in facilities management, including property oversight, project management, and technical knowledge in construction and maintenance. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential for effective tenant and stakeholder engagement.
