Floor Technician

Job Summary

• We are hiring immediately for a full time FLOOR TECHNICIAN position.
• Location:
  
  Ascension Seton Cedar Park Hospital – 1401 Medical Parkway, Cedar Park, TX 78613.
• Schedule:
  
  Full‑time; days and hours may vary. Details provided during interview.
• Requirement:
  Prior floor technician experience preferred; willingness to train.
• Pay Range: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour.

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard‑surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Applies proper procedures on carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Completes other duties as assigned by manager.

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. frequently.
