Position: Commercial Cleaner (2nd Shift)

Job Summary

As a CBRE GDS Commercial Cleaner, you will be responsible for basic cleaning duties, including mopping, sweeping, and trash disposal, and ensuring the cleanliness of your assigned areas.

Shift

Monday – Friday, 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm

Primary Job Functions
  • Provide daily cleaning support to high‑traffic areas of the building designated by the supervisor.
  • Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
  • Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other areas.
  • Dust furniture, walls, and equipment, including moving and rearranging furniture.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
  • Ensure cleaning supplies are in a safe, secure area at all times.
  • Complete standardized cleaning processes as per company standards.
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
  • Attend all regular staff meetings and required in‑service training sessions.
  • Follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems with limited discretion.
Education, Experience & Certification
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of job‑related experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and moving furniture.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Capability to efficiently complete assigned tasks within scheduled time frames.
  • Reliable and responsible, able to work independently or as part of a team.
Working Conditions
  • Occasional exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, and chemicals.
Compensation and Benefits

The minimum pay rate is $16.50 – $17.00 per hour. Eligible for a range of competitive benefits, including medical, well‑being, financial planning, and short‑term incentives.
