Job Summary
As a CBRE GDS Commercial Cleaner, you will be responsible for basic cleaning duties, including mopping, sweeping, and trash disposal, and ensuring the cleanliness of your assigned areas.
ShiftMonday – Friday, 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm
Primary Job Functions- Provide daily cleaning support to high‑traffic areas of the building designated by the supervisor.
- Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
- Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other areas.
- Dust furniture, walls, and equipment, including moving and rearranging furniture.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
- Ensure cleaning supplies are in a safe, secure area at all times.
- Complete standardized cleaning processes as per company standards.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
- Attend all regular staff meetings and required in‑service training sessions.
- Follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems with limited discretion.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of job‑related experience.
- Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and moving furniture.
- Ability to follow basic work routines.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset.
- Capability to efficiently complete assigned tasks within scheduled time frames.
- Reliable and responsible, able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Occasional exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, and chemicals.
The minimum pay rate is $16.50 – $17.00 per hour. Eligible for a range of competitive benefits, including medical, well‑being, financial planning, and short‑term incentives.
