The Lead Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring prompt customer service to all maintenance repair requests and preparing vacant units in preparation for new resident move-ins through direct supervision. You will assure that the property meets all Cohen-Esrey standards for safety and appearance. You will keep track of inventory, partner with management on priorities and budget. The Lead Maintenance Technician is an essential team member for Cohen-Esrey to deliver superior customer service to our residents.
This position is based in Cedar Rapids, IA, and may require occasional overtime or weekend work to meet maintenance deadlines.
- 2+ years Maintenance Supervisor Experience
- 3+ years of Maintenance Experience including light plumbing and electrical.
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift, carry, push or pull over 25lbs repeatedly.
- Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies.
- Valid Driver's License
- Basic tools required, to include personal smart phone technology.
- Proven 2+ years of HVAC experience
- HVAC Certified
$28-$32
* Final agreed-upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
