Position Overview
Ferguson is currently hiring a Pipe Yard Maintenance Technician to join our Distribution Center team in Celina, OH.
Work Schedule- Monday – Friday, 7am – 3:30pm
- Overtime as required
This role will work alongside the DC Facilities Manager and Pipe Yard Operations Manager to ensure peak performance of the facility and all equipment supporting supply chain operations. Additionally, the position is responsible for the upkeep, maintenance and repair of the facility, equipment, systems, and related events. The role will also respond to maintenance requests and communications in a timely and professional manner and participate in projects with other teams, working closely with IT, HR, Facilities and Operations.
Responsibilities- Conduct routine inspections of premises, grounds, building systems, equipment, and furnishings.
- Perform routine maintenance on Pipe Fabrication machines such as groovers, bevellers, plasma torch, pipe threader, saw, etc.
- Perform preventative maintenance on or repair building systems including plumbing, electrical, generator, HVAC, appliances, etc.
- Maintain and schedule regular testing and service for all fire and life safety systems, including fire inspections, fire extinguishers, fire sprinklers, fire alarms, emergency lighting and smoke detectors.
- Maintain building appearance inside and out; touch‑up painting, window cleaning, carpet cleaning, maintaining lights, etc.
- Facilitate and support associate moves and the resulting furniture and equipment adjustments; assist associates with assembly and installation/mounting of equipment and furnishings.
- Coordinate contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
- Maintain all hired facility vendors, landscaping, trash service, janitorial service, etc.
- Organize and maintain storage areas, warehouse/loading areas, and custodial/janitorial equipment areas.
- Maintain records and documentation on all implemented equipment and building systems.
- Maintain, service, clean, and properly store equipment.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, relevant codes and standards, and established procedures. Understand the correct selection and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Remediate and/or report safety hazards to the supervisor and take appropriate action.
- Ensure overall cleanliness of the building, outside spaces, and grounds, keeping them maintained and in good condition.
- As needed, clean up building common areas, clean up spills and collect and dispose of trash.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- 3+ years experience in maintenance of CNC machines.
- 5+ years experience in a similar position.
- Strong understanding of PLC and hydraulics.
- Prior experience using common tools to solve, repair, and resolve maintenance issues.
- Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced and inclusive environment. Strong attention to detail with demonstrated integrity and professionalism.
- Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practice.
- Ability to work overtime hours, based on company need.

Pay Range$20.77 - $39.14
Estimated ranges displayed are monthly for salaried roles or hourly for all other roles. This role is bonus or incentive plan eligible.
