Pay Range: $16.40 - $20.90
Position Summary:Under the close supervision of a Supervisor and/or Lead Specialist,this position is responsible for performing general facility maintenance duties and cleaning of public facilities including restrooms and shelters at the Southpark Pickleball Facility. The jobmay require shifts ranging from morning to evening hours, weekends and holidays.
- Perform general grounds cleaning and maintenance (restroom, picnicshelters, picnic table repair, stocking of supplies, painting,sanitizing, etc.).
- Collect and remove trash from the facility.
- Operate a blower to maintain pickleball courts, and the shelterareas free of debris.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and shelters.
- Operate phones, golf cart, blower, broom, shovel, hose, and otherfacility maintenance tools and equipment.
- Clean and perform routine maintenance on facility maintenance equipment and tools.
- Inspect areas for maintenance needs, vandalism, graffiti, andother hazards/safety concerns. Correct or inform supervisor of anyhazards which might interfere with safe usage of facility;communicate issues/complaints to supervisor as needed.
- Respond to public inquiries in a courteous manner; provide information within the area of assignment; resolve complaints in an efficient and timely manner.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings, trainings, and orientations.
- Assist other departments with District events as needed.
- Attend work on a regular, reliable and punctual basis.

Education and/orExperience:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Must possess a valid Colorado Driver License or have the abilityto obtain upon hire and maintain an acceptable driving record.
- Skill in operation of a wide variety of equipment and tools usedin parks maintenance, repair and construction in a safe and effective manner.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively verbally;establish and maintain working relationships with employees and the public.
- Must be highly motivated and take direction well with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work productively without supervision within established policies and procedures.
- Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time.
Work with a variety of power and hand tools, golf or utility carts.
Work is performed outdoors. May be exposed to extreme temperatures,sun, rain, snow, wind, humid or icy conditions. Frequent exposure to noise, fumes, dusts, mists, gases, grasses, molds, fertilizers,pesticides, solvents, oils, and greases. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. This includes a busy environment subjectto continuous interruptions, background noises, variable weather conditions, ecosystems, and landscape.
Physical Requirements :The daily routine requires the ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift,kneel, carry, grasp, push and pull equipment, supplies and materials.
Must be able to frequently sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel,stoop, reach and lift, exhibit manual dexterity and the ability tohandle objects. Must be able to push, pull or balance. Upper bodystrength is a requisite to lift/move a maximum of 50 pounds unassistedand lift/move a maximum of 100 pounds with assistance. Visionrequirements include: near acuity, far acuity, depth perception andcolor vision.
Requires sense of smell and feeling. Requires the ability to communicate both orally and in writing and execute oral and written instructions with understanding. Must have the ability to talkand hear via the telephone and through face-to-face communication.
