Overnight Cleaner

Job Summary

The Overnight Cleaner will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members by keeping the club clean and neat for prospective members and guests. You will also be responsible for ensuring the club is thoroughly cleaned throughout the night.

• Clean and sanitize locker rooms, including showers, all tile, toilets, floors, mirrors, changing rooms, and trash.
• Keep facilities stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
• Perform any other tasks or duties assigned by management.

• Custodial experience is preferred.
• Punctuality and reliability are a must.
• Ability to work third shift is required.
• Honesty and exceptional work ethic.
• Ability to solve problems independently and demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
• High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• A passion for fitness and health.
• Upbeat and positive attitude.
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member’s expectations.
• Strong listening skills with the ability to empathize and problem solve.

• Continual standing and walking during shift.
• Continual reaching with hands, fingers, and arms during shift.
• Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching during shift.
• Must be able to occasionally lift over 80 pounds.
• Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals.
