Kettering Health | Washington Township, Centerville | Full-time | Varied Shifts

Performs general maintenance work including painting, equipment repair, filter replacements, light bulb changing, preventive maintenance on equipment defined in the Preventive Equipment program, setting up tables and chairs for events, snow & site work. Must be able to work any shift including weekends when needed. Additional duties as assigned.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience in general maintenance work desired, preferably in healthcare maintenance.

Valid driver’s license required.

• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools and testing equipment used in maintenance.
• Keen hand-eye, visual coordination, and dexterity.
• PC skills (Word, Excel) – preferred.
• In good health with adequate strength and endurance to perform assigned tasks.
• Knowledge of how to work safely.
• Willingness to be trained in all categories of maintenance and repair as needed.
• Ability to read and write legibly.
• Communicates well with patients, visitors, department team members, and hospital staff.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Demonstrated ability in using machines, tools, repair of equipment, and maintenance.
• Demonstrated understanding of relevant equipment, policies (internal and network), and procedures to promote safe operations.
