Floor Technician – Miami Valley Hospital South
Location: Miami Valley Hospital South, 2400 Miami Valley Drive, Centerville, OH 45459. Online applications accepted only.
Schedule: Full time, Tuesday – Saturday, 10:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Further details upon interview.
Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour.
Job Summary: Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment.
Essential Functions- Maintain knowledge of hard‑surface floor maintenance principles and use proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
- Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
- Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
- Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
- Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
- Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred.
- Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
- Ability to follow safety procedures.
- Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
