Maintenance Technician

Main purpose of the Maintenance Technician role

Perform maintenance and repair on conveyor systems and associated components

Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life

Troubleshoot mechanical and motor electrical issues related to conveyor systems

Utilize CMMS or Google Sheets and related software tools to track and manage maintenance inventory parts, maintenance logs, and preventive maintenance schedules

Collaborate with other operation team members to improve equipment performance and safety

Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment

Respond promptly to urgent maintenance calls during assigned shift and after-hours as needed

Strong troubleshooting skills and technical aptitude

Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment

Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Required Competencies:

Day to day repairs and maintenance

Inventory Control

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or related trade industry certifications

Minimum 2 year experience

Familiar with computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)

A reasonable estimate of the current base hourly range is $22 - $24/hr.
