We’re looking to hire a hard-working Janitorial Cleaning Technician who can maintain the cleanliness and safety of our building. You’ll be responsible for all cleaning duties of the interior of the building and common areas. This includes trash and debris removal, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning mirrors/glass, spot cleaning certain areas, full service of restrooms, wipe down and apply polish. Other maintenance may include hanging signage, replacing light bulbs and cleaning stained walls.

The ideal candidate has a great work ethic, experience with cleaning equipment and supplies, pays attention to detail, has great customer service, the ability to multitask, can work well independently, have great time management skills, reports to work as scheduled, and takes pride in their job.

• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building interior
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, clean restrooms, dust, remove trash and other debris
• Clean windows, replace light bulbs, supply restrooms, and perform minor repairs on a regular basis
• Wipe up spills and other hazards with a mop
• Secure the building and inspect the premises
• Use a daily cleaning checklist for areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairs

• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in janitorial services
• Driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite
• Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment
• Excellent stamina and physical health
• Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
