Join our DYNAMIC team at Bickford Senior Living as a Maintenance Coordinator! The Maintenance Coordinator ensures that the Branch is clean and in good working order. They use their expertise to provide a safe and well-kept home for our residents.

Must have a valid driver's license and pass a motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the Branch to a standard of excellence that reflects the quality of care we provide our residents.
  • Prioritize and complete all maintenance tasks timely.
  • Address maintenance issues promptly, notifying the Director when outside services are needed.
  • Ensure all apartments are move‑in-ready within 3 days after move‑out.
  • Assist in arranging service contracts and bids as assigned.
  • Promptly complete items from Maintenance Request forms.
  • Manage the Preventive Maintenance Work Schedule to ensure items are completed timely.
  • Order supplies/chemicals as assigned.
  • Identify emergency situations and respond appropriately using the applicable Bickford procedure.
  • Ensure equipment remains in working order and is used safely.
  • Complete Resident Monitoring System Testing Procedure Checklist as scheduled.
  • Complete the Exit Door Inspection Checklist as scheduled.
  • Perform emergency tests according to the Preventive Maintenance Work Schedule.
  • Ensure chemicals utilized are securely stored, labeled, and used per directions, and appropriate PPE is worn.
  • Ensure OSHA compliance while working in the Branch.
  • Complete tasks necessary to comply with all applicable state and federal regulatory agencies.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Willing to take additional training or education, which specific states may require.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications are required or willingness to obtain.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication.
  • Competent in organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrates good judgment, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
