Calendar: 2612H FULL TIME (12 MONTH) 248 work days, 13 paid holidays
Min entry base pay: $19.01 per hour

Experience:
1% for two or more years of full‑time experience + additional 1% per year, up to 5% limit
New Hire
Education:
1% of hourly rate for a college degree in a similar field + work experience credit, up to 5% limit
Job Goal: Maintain a safe, clean, and attractive physical plant.
Post‑offer physical and drug screening test is required for this position.
Core Job Functions- Sweep, dust, vacuum, scrub, wax, and polish floors and surfaces
- Wash windows, walls, woodwork, and equipment
- Cleans assigned areas to prescribed standards and requirements
- Empty trash receptacles
- Perform minor repairs
- Move furniture and equipment based on facility needs
- Replace light bulbs and perform minor maintenance
- Inspect all fire equipment on campus and maintain inspection records
- Report safety/security hazards and needs for major repairs promptly
- Secure the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required
- Handle emergency custodial duties for principals, teachers, and staff
- Follow district policies as outlined
- Perform all duties safely and prudently as directed by supervisors
- Ability to read and write English as it pertains to job functions
- Previous custodial experience desired
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Respond to all internal and external customers promptly, efficiently, friendly, and patiently

- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, walk, sit, use manual dexterity, repetitive finger motion, speak, hear, see (with correction), focus, or other applicable factors
- Ability to stand and walk constantly on various floor surfaces while performing duties, including up to 100 pounds push/pull force for various machines
- Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds; items over 50 pounds require assistance
- May rarely be required to climb ladders, perform stocking, inventory, cleaning, or maintenance tasks
- May be subject to travel, fumes, odors, chemicals, blood‑borne pathogens, workplace restrictions, cold/hot temperatures, and loud noises
