Field Service Engineer - Travel

Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Field Service Technician supporting customers across major West Coast semiconductor hubs (AZ, CA, OR, , TX, NM). This high‑travel role (up to 90%) is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on troubleshooting and improving equipment performance in the field.

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and major equipment repairs
• Install, upgrade, and support complex industrial systems at customer sites
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in production environments
• Follow technical documentation and complete work with limited supervision
• Maintain accurate service reports and meet customer requirements
• Support training of new technicians
• Adhere to all safety and quality standards

• 2+ years of experience operating and performing repairs and preventative maintenance in a semiconductor manufacturing facility
• HS Diploma or Technical School (Associates Preferred)
• Ability to wear a respirator
• Experience working in a travel based position and ability to travel at a 90% requirement
• Experience supporting vacuum pump and abatement systems
