Job Summary

A day in your new career:
It’s 6:00 a.m. in Chandler and you’re gearing up with your crew. By mid‑morning, you’re learning side‑by‑side with Level I and Level II technicians, tearing down a control valve set for inspection. After lunch, you’re back at our shop assembling actuators to manufacturer specifications, double‑checking torque values, and verifying test results. Later, you hop in the stake bed to return refurbished valves to a customer site, where you lend a hand with in‑line work—packing changes, flange bolting, and fittings.

Before the day wraps, you tidy the work area, log your work orders on the computer, and coordinate tomorrow’s pickup schedule. That’s the rhythm of growth.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with testing and assembling valves and actuators per work orders, IOMs, and customer specs.
  • Clean and prepare serviceable parts using solvents, wire brushes, or a sandblaster.
  • Work both in‑shop and at customer locations to decontaminate, assemble, repair, and function‑test equipment.
  • Support in‑line valve tasks at customer sites (packing changes, valve fitting, flange bolting, and torqueing).
  • Verify build quality and conformance to standards and customer requirements.
  • Assist in repairing valves, actuators, and related instrumentation in the shop and in the field.
  • Operate the stake bed to pick up and deliver valves to and from client sites.
  • Help maintain shop tools and equipment for safe, reliable operation.
  • Develop hands‑on capability to safely service control and isolation valves.
