Position Summary
The new House Master Greater Phoenix! Locally owned and operated by an inspector (no private equity firms). We are a small but mighty growing franchise seeking individuals to join a team of professional home inspectors. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, articulate, outgoing, personable, presentable, and follows our standard process to complete an accurate, thorough quality home inspection of essential elements and a detailed report.
RoleAnd Responsibilities
- Basic knowledge of residential home systems and elements.
- Work in various weather conditions, climb ladders, walk on roofs, access crawl spaces and attics, and stand for long periods.
- Solid computer technology skills necessary for report writing and communications.
- Stay current on company initiatives, policies, and procedures, continually develop advanced technical knowledge in inspection standards and home building science.
- Show punctuality, ability to work independently, and strong work ethic.
- Active Home Inspector License with Arizona Board of Technical Registration.
- Capacity to use the latest inspection software, technology and techniques (Home Gauge, ISN).
- Certified or trained to perform Termite, Radon & Mold Inspections (plus but not required at hire).
- Degree or experience in construction or engineering (plus but not required).
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record, personal auto insurance.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Physical fitness for climbing ladders, walking on roofs, accessing crawl spaces and attics, standing for long periods.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- May be required to enter homes that contain allergens such as pets, dust, mold, or potential carcinogens.
- Extensive resources and field support; freedom to control your schedule.
- Paid for pre-approved certification and licensing as required or directed by House Master Greater Phoenix.
- Experience-based wage scale; 1099 or W‑2 part‑time commission pay structures; split of inspection fees.
- Flexible schedule: you control days and times you are available.
- $25 Cell Phone and $10 SUPRA License stipend per semi‑monthly pay period.
$500.00 - $2,500.00 per week.
