The Facilities Tech I will also serve as Day Porter. This hybrid role is responsible for performing light maintenance and repair tasks while maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment throughout the facility. The Facilities Tech I will also serve as Day Porter. This hybrid role is responsible for performing light maintenance and repair tasks while maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment throughout the facility. The position is split approximately 50/50 between facilities support and day porter cleaning duties. In this role you will be responsible for:

• Perform light repairs including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general handyman tasks
• Conduct routine inspections of building systems and report issues as needed
• Replace light bulbs, air filters, and other minor components
• Assist with preventative maintenance activities
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders
• Elevate repair tasks that exceed current qualification level

• Maintain cleanliness of common areas including lobbies, restrooms, break rooms, and hallways
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and trash removal
• Restock supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.) throughout the day
• Address spills, hazards, and urgent cleaning needs in a timely manner
• Monitor facility conditions and ensure a neat, professional appearance at all times

This position reports to the Facilities/EH&S Director for Day Porter responsibilities and Facilities Supervisor for Facilities/Maintenance responsibilities.
