RoleSummary
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be an important part of the team that keeps our bakery running safely, reliably, and efficiently. This hands-on leadership role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, supporting people, and seeing the direct impact of their work every day. You will guide maintenance team members, prioritize work, troubleshoot equipment, coordinate repairs, and partner with teams across the bakery to reduce downtime and support smooth daily operations.

- Lead, coach, and support Maintenance Technicians and Maintenance Aidesin a collaborative, safety-focused environment.
- Prioritize daily work orders, preventive maintenance, repairs, and emergency maintenance needs.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules, resources, and team priorities to support production goals.
- Set clear expectations,encourageaccountability, andhelpteammembers build strong, safe work habits.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and facility systems.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend actions to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
- Support preventive maintenance programs, corrective actions, and equipment reliability initiatives.
- Coordinate contractors, vendors, spare parts, and maintenance documentation as needed.
- Ensure maintenance work is completed in accordance with safety, GMP, food safety, and company standards.
- Partner with Production, FSQA, Sanitation, Warehouse, and other departments to support operational needs.
- Respond to urgent equipment or facility issues while maintaining a safe, organized work environment.
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to equipment reliability, efficiency, and facility performance.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, controls, preventive maintenance, and work order systems.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
- Strong communication, organization, prioritization, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate across departments, and adapt to changing operational priorities.
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years of supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training, trade school, or related certification preferred.
- Experience supporting maintenance operations in food manufacturing, bakery, or another regulated production environment preferred.
- Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, automation, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Welding, fabrication, or forklift certification experience.
- Experience using preventive maintenance or computerized maintenance management systems.
- Food manufacturing, bakery, or regulated production experience.
- Work is performed in a bakery manufacturing environment with exposure to production equipment, moving machinery, temperature changes, noise, dust, oils, and cleaning chemicals.
- Role requires frequent time on the production floor and throughout facility operations.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, and safely operate tools and maintenance equipment as needed.
- Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and respond to emergency maintenance situations.
- Must be flexible and available to work any day of the week, including evenings, weekends, holidays, or on-call support based on business needs.
