Do you enjoy keeping a property in great shape and making sure residents have a safe and comfortable place to call home? We're looking for a Maintenance Technician for our brand-new affordable housing community, Villas on McQueen (157-units) in Chandler, AZ. If you're ready to put your maintenance skills to work while helping keep a brand-new community safe, comfortable and well-maintained, we encourage you to apply today!
What You'll Do:
Complete daily maintenance and repairs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
Maintain exterior of the property along with tackling seasonal prep such as fall cleanup.
Perform daily property walks to keep everything clean, safe, and looking sharp.
Respond promptly to routine and emergency maintenance requests when assigned.
Prepare vacant apartments for new residents using make-ready checklists.
Inspect buildings and grounds to maintain safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal.
Maintain common areas, exterior spaces, and grounds.
Communicate with vendors, contractors, co-workers and residents.
What You'll Bring:
Minimum of two years of previous experience in property management maintenance, building maintenance, or related trade.
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurability requirements.
Strong customer service skills with a resident-first mindset.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
HVAC-EPA (Type II), or EPA Universal preferred.
