General Maintenance Worker
Must have a Top-Secret clearance
Custodial tasks include but not limited to:
- Dusting
- Washing
- Vacuuming
- Stripping & waxing floors
- Polishing
- Trash collection and removal
- Carpet cleaning
- Replenishment of toilet and kitchen supplies
- Use of dishwasher and stacking dishes
- Cleaning AC/Heating supply and return vents
Labor tasks include but not limited to:
- Grass cutting
- Changing light bulbs
- Trim weeds on fence line & around parking area
- Blow leaves & grass off parking lot
- Clean drains in parking lot
Areas where custodial & labor services shall be performed include:
- Office areas
- Special purpose areas
- Toilet & shower areas
- Corridors
- Fixtures
- Ash receptacles
- Windows
- Lobbies
- Entrance ways
- Trash dumpster area
- Storage areas
- Weight room
- Conference rooms
- Garage area
- Kitchen areas
- Outside the building
High school diploma or GED is required. Specific training and thorough knowledge in the particular area of facility maintenance, plus a broad knowledge of other disciplines such as general math, etc., is required. Ability to read and write in English. Knowledge of applicable state and Federal laws and company policies and procedures is required. Must possess a valid state issued driver license.
Forklift experience up to 6000lbs desired. A minimum of two (2) years of documented, verifiable training or experience with hazardous material desired.
