Clean dishes, pots and pans, glassware, silverware, and other wares by hand or using a commercial dishwashing machine. Follow the daily sanitation cleaning schedule for walls, floors, surfaces, and equipment. Assist with food preparation.

• Maintain kitchen and dining area floors using proper floor cleaning procedures.
• Clean all pots, pans, glassware, plateware, flatware, and wares by hand or a commercial dishwashing machine.
• Transport clean and dry wares to their proper location throughout dining areas and kitchen.
• Clean working areas and equipment in kitchen.
• Remove all trash and recyclables, including cardboard boxes, mixed recycling bins, and glass, following disposal guidelines.
• Maintain trash receptacles, cleaning and relining trash cans.
• Maintain rear dock area, including sweeping and trash removal.
• Maintain dumpster and recycling area, sweeping and closing dumpster doors and trash‑can lids.
• Follow the Daily Sanitation Cleaning List schedule.
• Assist in breakdown and cleanup of special events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience:
  
  1 year preferred.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
• Must have manual dexterity to lift pans, pots, etc.
• Must stand or walk for extended periods.
• Must be goal‑oriented.
• Must have effective oral and written communication skills.

Kitchen environment. Flexible schedule, working day and/or evening hours, including weekends and holidays.
