Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Job Overview
The Reliability Technician will be responsible for executing the site reliability initiatives at Charles City.
Responsibilities- Collect oil samples per oil sample test plan. Perform oil changes based on results.
- Perform routine ultrasonic greasing and collection of data for all critical equipment.
- Conduct routine air and nitrogen leak surveys, and oversee all necessary repairs.
- Perform routine collection of vibration data for all identified equipment.
- Conduct yearly digital thermography of all MCC panels.
- Work with Reliability Engineer to collect data in support of conducting failure analyses.
- Participate in criticality assessments and FMEAs as required.
- Collect data in support of the Mechanical Integrity program, and facilitate required repairs.
- Create Notifications and Work Orders in SAP.
- Other duties as assigned
- Strong aptitude in the area of mechanical and electrical systems
- Working knowledge of Microsoft computer applications within a Windows based environment
- High attention to detail
- High school diploma
- Either has, or is willing to obtain, the following certifications:
- Machinery Lubrication Technician 1
- Ultrasonic Level 1
- Basic Vibration Level 1
- Thermography Level 1
- Yellow Belt Lean Six Sigma
- CMRP
