Maintenance Technician - Part Time

Charming Inns is looking for a part‑time Maintenance Technician to join our hotel and restaurant team. The technician is primarily responsible for the day‑to‑day upkeep and repairs on our downtown Charleston, SC hotels including the Wentworth Mansion, John Rutledge House Inn, Kings Courtyard Inn, and Fulton Lane Inn, as well as other special projects as assigned. This position will interact with property level employees, corporate senior management, and various vendors.

The right candidate must be available to work Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

• Have experience in HVAC, plumbing, basic electrical, and basic carpentry.
• Be able to perform preventative maintenance and repairs as well as general maintenance.
• Communicate professionally with guests, co‑workers and vendors.
• Be available to work Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• Have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.

Parking is provided. All employees are eligible for holiday pay after 90 days and vacation and sick pay after 1 year.
