Custodian in School Setting

Starting ASAP to 7/1/2027

Full Time; 1.0 FTE, M-F

Hello, Custodians! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Custodian for a school setting in Goose Creek, SC. In this role, you'll perform standard cleaning and custodial duties throughout the school, including cleaning classrooms and bathrooms, removing trash, sweeping and mopping floors, dusting, and cleaning walls to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students and staff.

• Competitive pay ($8.50/hour) + steady school-year schedule

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors throughout the school.
• Empty trash and recycling and replace liners as needed.
• Dust and wipe down furniture, surfaces, and fixtures.
• Clean walls, doors, windows, and high-touch surfaces.
• Restock bathroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Follow established cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming school environment for students and staff.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the shift
• Ability to work independently and follow cleaning/safety procedures
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
• Ability to work professionally around students, staff, and school personnel
