To provide students and staff with a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, sanitary, and effective place in which to learn, play, and develop. Employees will work under limited supervision. - Keep LS Brice, school cafeteria, de la Howe Hall, and Education Center common areas and bathrooms neat, clean, and sanitary at all times. Ensuring they are clean and sanitized daily.
- Sweep or vacuum classrooms, offices, and activity spaces and dust furniture daily.
- Sweep and mop cafeteria common spaces daily.
- Clean corridors after each school clay and during the clay when the conditions require it.
- Wash all windows on both the inside and outside at least twice a year or more frequently if needed.
- Keep all floors in a clean and attractive condition and in a good state of preservation.
- Move furniture or equipment within buildings as required for various activities or directed by the school administration.
- Shovel, plows, or sands sidewalks, driveways, parking areas, and steps as appropriate.
- Empties trash from bathrooms daily and takes it to the agency dumpster.
- Polish floors twice a year or more frequently.
- 11.Enters maintenance requests when repairs or supplies are needed.
- Restocks bathrooms with paper products daily.
- Refills public water station daily.
- Empties trash from bathrooms, common spaces, classrooms, and offices on a daily basis. Ensure that all trash is taken to agency dumpsters.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED required. Custodial experience directly related to area of employment. Must have a valid driver's license.
- Custodial experience directly related to area of employment.
- The employee must be able to lift 50 pounds and se cleaning tools and chemicals.
- The employee must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- May have to work several weekends a year due to campus events.
- The employee schedule may change based on school/agency needs.
- The employee must complete CPR, Vector Solutions and any other necessary annually as required.
