Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician will report to the Maintenance Manager at Quick Snap in Greenwood, SC. The position is responsible for performing entry level to complex troubleshooting and repair techniques on manufacturing equipment; electrical/electronic and mechanical systems; analyzing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing complex equipment; assisting in modifications to existing machinery and equipment to facilitate new production techniques and/or improve equipment reliability.

- Manufacturing produces Quick Snap one-time flash cameras as well as waterproof one-time use cameras. These cameras are made for the worldwide retail market to the high-quality standards Fujifilm requires. Operations include molding, assembly, packaging, and shipping of Quick Snap cameras. Quick Snap operations also include recycling of spent cameras, in which 60% of the camera weight is reused to make new cameras.

Training on 1st shift: 7a-4:30pm Monday through Thursday. Friday 1/2 day 7am-11am.

Must take on call 1 day a week 5pm-5am. Training will be 6 months to 1 year.

Following training, this position will have a rotating schedule.

• Understands and demonstrates fundamental concepts of mechanical and electrical maintenance at the component level. Component is defined as part of an electrical or mechanical system. Demonstrates basic competency in at least one MED discipline; mechanical and/or electrical.
