Part Time Janitor

We are seeking a dependable and detail‑oriented part‑time cleaner for a Housing Authority in Charleston, WV.

• Clean and sanitize common areas, offices, hallways, restrooms, and other assigned spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Clean windows, mirrors, doors, and other high‑touch surfaces.
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards to management.
• Follow all cleaning procedures and security guidelines.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous interactions with residents and staff.
• Perform other general cleaning duties as assigned.

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (20 hours per week). Pay is $14.10 per hour.

• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to lift up to 25–40 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Dependable transportation and excellent attendance are required.

• Weekly pay via direct deposit or pay card.
