The Pool Maintenance Technician is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and repairing residential pools. This position requires the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and ensure that all serviced pools meet safety and cleanliness standards.

Job Responsibilities:
Water Chemistry
• Test and adjust water chemistry (pH, alkalinity, chlorine, etc.) to ensure safe and sanitary conditions.
• Add chemicals as needed to maintain proper water balance.
Equipment Maintenance & Repair
• Troubleshoot, repair, or replace pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and lights.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Pool Cleaning
• Clean pool surfaces (walls, floor, skimmer baskets) using appropriate equipment.
• Remove debris and sediment from the pool.
• Clean and maintain pool deck areas.
Client Interaction
• Communicate effectively with clients about pool maintenance needs and concerns.
• Provide advice and recommendations on preventative maintenance practices.
• Inspect pool structures for cracks or leaks and perform necessary repairs.
• Manage the pool supplies inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Maintain records of maintenance services performed.
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pool Maintenance Technician; certification is a plus.
Basic knowledge of pool chemistry, water treatment, and maintenance procedures.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair common pool issues.
Strong customer service skills.
Physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
A valid Driver's License is required.
