Location: Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT)
Schedule: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Weekends Required)
Pay: $16.50 per hour

What You'll Be Doing

Overnight General Cleaners help prepare the airport for the next day's travelers.

Responsibilities include:

• Deep cleaning terminals, gates, and public areas

• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms

• Floor care (sweeping, mopping, auto-scrubbing, burnishing, stripping & waxing as assigned)

• Disinfecting high-touch surfaces (handrails, seating, elevators, fixtures)

• Trash and recycling removal

• Cleaning glass, stainless steel, and detailed surfaces

• Operating industrial cleaning equipment safely

• Following OSHA, safety, and chemical handling procedures

• Inspecting assigned areas before shift end

• Reporting maintenance or safety concerns

This is hands-on, active work that keeps the airport clean, safe, and ready for thousands of daily travelers.

Minimum Qualifications

Because this is a secure airport environment, applicants must:

• Be 18 years or older

• Pass a fingerprint-based background check

• Qualify for and maintain an airport security badge

• Have reliable transportation for overnight hours

• Be able to communicate in English or Spanish

• Lift, push, or pull up to 80 lbs

• Maintain strong attendance and reliability

Physical Requirements (Job Transparency)

This is a physically active position requiring:

• Standing and walking most of the shift

• Bending, kneeling, and reaching

• Handling cleaning tools and equipment

• Lifting up to 80 lbs (training and equipment provided)
