General Building Maintenance Technician
The Lead Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the property and assisting the Maersk Facility Operations Manager with their responsibilities. The Maintenance Technician assists with all aspects of the property's maintenance/repairs including the physical grounds, preventive, corrective, deferred and emergency. This role also assists the customer with the coordination of all other assigned vendors who perform work on the site.
This role is also responsible for following the maintenance program to protect and maintain the property.
The Lead Maintenance Technician must have the ability to install, service, replace and repair the following items in a responsible and professional manner that meets industry standards. These responsibilities include but are not limited to: light plumbing, caulking and waterproofing, countertops and cabinets, desk drawers and locks, light HVAC, interior and exterior doors, electrical circuits, receptacles, breakers, switches and fuses, light fixtures, carpentry, toilets, sinks, vanities, clean and inspect storage rooms, stair treads and cove basing, fencing, minor drywall damages, light painting, exterior appearance and repairs as needed, grounds policing and coordination with grounds vendors.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum 10 years full-time maintenance experience, willingness to perform all required tasks, demonstrated knowledge of work safety habits, ability to professionally represent the company, supply basic tools, and ability to work on-call and extended hours (including after hours and weekends).
