Trash Technician (Full Time And Part Time

Overview

We are hiring immediately for full time and part time TRASH TECHNICIAN positions.

Location:

Johnson C Smith University - 100 Beattie's Ford Road, Charlotte, NC 28216. (Openings at other locations within school district available).

• Identify, transport, and dispose of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Perform cleaning functions as assigned; operate cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognize safety hazards and act accordingly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must have the physical ability to walk, stand, and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

Collects, transports, and properly disposes of trash and bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols.

Schedule:

Full time and part time schedules; days may vary, 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm. More details upon interview. (Full and Part Time with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs)

Requirement:
Prior trash technician experience is required.

Pay Range: $15.00 per hour to $17.00 per hour.
