Position: Operating Engineer / HVAC Engineer
Our client, a leading organization in commercial property management, is seeking an Operating Engineer to join their team. As an Operating Engineer, you will be part of the Facilities Maintenance Department supporting the building operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, technical proficiency, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range: $32 to $36 per hour*
* ** What's the Job?*
* + Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment across various systems

+ Perform preventive maintenance on Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems

+ Monitor and record equipment performance, making adjustments to ensure optimal operation

+ Manage inventory, purchase supplies, and oversee contracted maintenance work

+ Ensure compliance with safety policies and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment

** What's Needed?*
* + High School diploma or GED equivalent

+ 2-4 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems

+ EPA 608 Universal Certification

+ Ability to analyze and troubleshoot Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems

+ Proficiency with work order systems and basic computer applications like Word and Excel
