Full-Time Housekeeper – 1st Shift

Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour Schedule: Full-Time, 1st Shift Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly via direct deposit

As a Housekeeper, you will be an essential member of our dedicated senior care team. You will help residents maintain an active and comfortable lifestyle by ensuring resident rooms and shared spaces are clean, stocked, and ready to support exceptional care.

The Floater Housekeeper provides daily cleaning and supply support for resident and patient rooms, wards, nursing stations, lounges, offices, bathrooms, and other assigned areas. Work is performed in accordance with established Housekeeping Department procedures and cleaning schedules.

Responsibilities include:

• Clean assigned areas according to established written schedules and departmental standards

• Dust, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors, offices, resident rooms, and common areas

• Dry mop and wet mop floors as assigned

• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to designated disposal areas

• Spot clean walls, windows, furniture, and carpets

• Replenish room and cleaning supplies as needed

• Polish silver accessories and metal fixtures, fittings, and related surfaces

• Maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff

• Follow workplace safety, sanitation, infection-control, and confidentiality procedures

• Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to read and write effectively

• Ability to follow written schedules, directions, and standard cleaning procedures

• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic

• Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team

• Caring, respectful approach when working around residents, families, and fellow team members

• Previous housekeeping, healthcare, hotel, senior living, or environmental services experience is helpful, but not required
