Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Lead Cook located in Charlotte, NC. The Lead Cook will oversee the preparation and cooking of meals while ensuring high‑quality food output. Daily responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, managing inventory, and assisting in menu planning and recipe creation. The Lead Cook will be instrumental in maintaining culinary standards and upholding the exceptional service ethos of The Ritz‑Carlton.

Qualifications
  • Strong Culinary Expertise, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation skills
  • Leadership Skills and Team Management experience in a kitchen setting
  • Understanding of Food Safety Standards, including knowledge of sanitation and health guidelines
  • Organizational Skills and the ability to manage inventory effectively
  • Attention to Detail and creativity in menu planning and recipe development
  • Adaptability and efficiency in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment
  • Previous experience in fine dining or hotel kitchens preferred
  • Culinary certification or relevant training is an advantage
