Janitor

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Contract Janitor to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities. The ideal candidate will have exceptional cleaning skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe and sanitary environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure overall cleanliness.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Skills:

• Proven experience as a janitor or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and buffers.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
