Overnight Shift Supervisor

Position Details

• Full‑time Overnight Shift Supervisor – Hiring immediately
• Location:
  
  UVA Health System, 1215 Lee Street, Charlottesville, VA 22908 (online application only)
• Schedule:
  
  Full‑time; days, hours, and weekends vary with overnight shifts. Rotating weekends required. Details discussed during interview.
• Salary: $18.50 to $18.75 per hour (plus a $2.50 hourly differential for overnight shifts and a $2.75 differential for weekends)
• Prior supervisory experience preferred

Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate employee performance; reward high performers and discipline those who fail to meet standards.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets quality, productivity, and safety expectations.
• Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• Serve as a mentor, develop employees, and encourage workers to set goals and advance within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
